This position is responsible for assisting the Global Finance team with general accounting tasks for the various consolidated entities including but not limited to balance sheet account reconciliations, project accounting, monthly journal entries, oversight of bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be well organized, flexible with work hours, and comfortable working within a remote environment for the time being. This individual must be self-starter who is able to work independently and within the structure of a global finance team that is managed in the US. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Driving month-end close processes including but not limited to:
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Fixed asset additions, retirements, and depreciation
  • Cash reconciliation
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Expense Accruals and amortization
  • Project accounting
  • Philippines subsidiary monthly accounting support
  • Other ad hoc reporting needs
*Purchasing to payables cycle:
  • Travel & expense report processing
  • Accounts payable cycle management
  • Vendor management
  • Annual 1099s
*Oversee recording payroll and benefits entries *Preparation of Audit schedules QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong Communication skills (excellent written and spoken English)
  • Experience working in an ERP system (e.g. NetSuite)
  • Strong GL reconciliation experience
  • Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills a must
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
  • Ability to manage small team remotely
  • Flexible work hours
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • CPA preferred
  • With stable internet connection (at least 25 mbps)
