JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT Responsibilities as a Social Media Assistant: Assist in the implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness engagement and drive traffic to our platforms. Create and curate content for social media posts including graphics videos and written content adhering to brand guidelines and voice. Schedule and publish social media posts using management tools such as meta business. Monitor social media channels respond to comments messages and engage with followers to build and maintain a positive community. Conduct research on industry trends competitor activities and audience preferences to inform content creation and strategy. Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media efforts with other marketing initiatives and campaigns. Assist in analyzing social media performance metrics track key KPIs and provide insights and recommendations for optimization. Stay informed about the latest trends and updates in social media platforms and tools and share relevant insights with the team. Assist in identifying and building relationships with influencers partners and relevant communities to expand brand reach. Qualifications as a Social Media Assistant: Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Previous experience in social media management content creation or digital marketing is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn and TikTok. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging content and storytelling. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies tools and industry trends. Familiarity with graphic design video editing or photography is a plus. Enthusiasm for social media marketing and a proactive attitude towards personal and professional development.
