Senior Executive, IT Department Responsibilities: ❖ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network administration, system maintenance, and user support. ❖ Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure. ❖ Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs and requirements. ❖ Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. ❖ Evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. ❖ Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's IT capabilities. ❖ Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed. ❖ Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices. ❖ Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues promptly, both remotely and on-site. ❖ Perform routine maintenance tasks, including hardware upgrades, patch installations, and system updates. ❖ Assist end-users with technical support inquiries via phone, email, or in person. ❖ Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including wired and wireless networks. ❖ Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and procure hardware/software as needed. ❖ Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and hardware inventory. ❖ Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices. Skills: ❖ Excellent leadership and communication skills. ❖ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ❖ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. ❖ Proficiency in IT infrastructure management tools and software. ❖ Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework is advantageous. ❖ Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals. ❖ Familiarity with networking equipment such as routers, switches, and access points. Qualifications: ❖ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. ❖ Master of Computer Applications (MCA) qualification is required. ❖ Additional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred. Experience: ❖ Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. ❖ Proven track record of managing IT projects and teams effectively. ❖ Experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure. ❖ Strong knowledge of IT best practices, security protocols, and regulatory compliance. ❖ Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
