Project Spend:Administers execution of logistic projects with spend ranging from $100K to $2 million per project.. Workload:Provides administrative support for logistics projects of peers.Manages multiple assignments with urgent deadlines.Executes Bill-of-Lading transaction volumes in excess of 500 per year.. Impact:Project execution failure would significantly impact customer satisfaction.Nature and ScopeThe Logistics Specialist I role reports to the Manager, Shipping & Logistics.The role manages all aspects of the logistics function necessary to ensure cost effective, high quality transportation, and timely delivery of material.The actions of the incumbent are controlled by policies and procedures as well as federal regulations and international laws and regulations.The position major functions include: -Administration of logistics transactions for a wide range of logistics projects -Coordination with logistics suppliers for processing of invoices -Ensuring proper documentation for shipments -Auditing invoices -Participating in problem solving effortsKey Contacts:(Internal and External)Business Management
