Description:
- Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage electrical and I&C engineering activities throughout all project phases, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to a team of engineers and designers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Design and Analysis: Develop detailed electrical and I&C designs, eBOP scope including power distribution systems, instrumentation layouts, control systems, and protection schemes.
- Perform technical calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Procurement Support: Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to select and procure electrical and I&C equipment and materials, ensuring adherence to project requirements and specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to electrical and I&C systems and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
- Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and address any concerns or issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in electrical and I&C engineering within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power Plant sectors.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and PLC programming tools.
- Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC) and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
