Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Assist in designing, simulating, and evaluating various coding modulation schemes for our next-generation optical modemContribute to modifying and updating our coding-modulation and DSP platforms to optimize our solutions for more realistic scenariosWhat you'll bring to the team:
PhD orMaster's degreein Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or similar fieldsSolid foundation in algebraic forward error correction codes theory (e.g. BCH, RS, RM)Strong background in digital communication theory and coding-modulationFamiliarity with modern coding concepts such as zipper code, OFEC, polar codeProficiency in digital signal processingProgramming skills in C++ and PythonKnowledge in optical communication is an asset
