Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Business Consultant - Scrum Master for our Federal Government client.Tasks ans Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:a) Support continuous delivery of top priority workb) Adoption and consistent use of agile techniques, tools, and standard practicesc) Create a positive working environment for teams to self-organize and raise performanced) Promoting and supporting the use of Agile ways of working (Scrum and Kanban)e) Coaching the team on Scrum, Kanban and Agile theory, practices, rules, and valuesf) Acting as a servant-leader for the Team by advising stakeholders on interacting effectively with anAgile teamg) Coaching techniques for effective Product Backlog managementh) Helping the Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog itemsi) Understanding product planning in an empirical environmentj) Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize valuek) Understanding and practicing agilityl) Coaching the Team in self-organization and cross-functionalitym) Helping the Team to create high-value productsn) Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame,retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solvingo) Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the workp) Removing impediments to the Team's progressq) Facilitating events as requested or neededr) Works in close collaboration with the Product Owner (PO) and the Tech Lead Maplesoft Group prides itself on its distinct corporate culture and recognizes that success is a direct reflection of our most valuable asset - our people.
