Currently, we are running a start-up project within the life sciences sector, NetMind.life, with a focus on longevity and digital health. We are keen to recruit enthusiastic individuals with a background in bioscience and business development skills to join us on this exciting journey. Role Overview We are seeking a Business Development Specialist who has a solid grounding in bioscience to play a crucial role in our growth trajectory. This role is perfect for someone who combines scientific expertise with strong business acumen, especially in marketing, client relationship management, and business development within the health tech sector. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, specifically within the health tech and wellness sector.
- Collaborate closely with the product manager and marketing team to devise targeted marketing strategies for various customer segments, increasing brand awareness and lead generation.
- Engage in detailed negotiations with potential clients and partners, ensuring that agreements support our commercial objectives and align with our overall goals.
- Help develop strategic partnerships that enhance our product/service offerings, collaborating with legal teams to finalise contracts.
- Work alongside product development teams to incorporate customer feedback and market demands into new product/service designs that meet these needs.
- Monitor and report on the success of business development initiatives, using CRM tools to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build a strong professional network and promote our brand.
- Act as the link between clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and the successful implementation of business agreements.
- Master’s degree in Bioscience or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, client management, or business development, preferably in the health tech, wellness, or related industries.
- A strong interest in the fields of longevity and wellness is essential, and previous professional experience in this area will be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and forging strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Highly adaptable and capable of thriving in a dynamic start-up environment.
