This is a remote position. Job Summary: The General Accountant is responsible for preparation of financial statements. He/she will also assist in government and corporate compliances and perform other related tasks assigned. Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete and accurate journal entries in accordance with relevant local and global standards including but not limited to meeting both internal and external requirements.
  • Conduct monthly closing activities to prepare standalone and consolidated Financial Statements such as Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Maintain GL accounts supporting schedules and analyze balances to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual government and corporate requirements and reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist immediate head in banks government compliances and audits.
  • Address and resolve accounting or compliance related concerns and requests.
  • Identify and participate in Financerelated process improvements and initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy preferably CPA but not necessary.
  • Preferably with 2 years or more of working experience as General Accountant or related role
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
  • Highly analytical with excellent mathematical skills.
  • Proficient experience with MS Office spreadsheets and/or any similar software.
  • Familiarity with P hilippine taxation and Government compliances
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not necessary.
  • Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be fine to report to our Makati and BGC office as required.
