PORT Enterprise Solution helps our clients make quicker and more informed decision by empowering them with the tools to define appropriate investment universes with benchmarks, implement optimal investment portfolio strategies, easily and accurately measure portfolio risk and return, and streamline their overall investment management workflow. What's the role? We are looking for an experienced buy-side specialist to focus on the pre-sales process, supporting sales teams across the entire buy-side enterprise. The Pre-sales Engineer is a critical member of the APAC team responsible for engaging with potential customers and key decision makers to understand their business objectives and requirements in order to deliver customized pre-sales presentations and product demonstrations. We'll trust you to:
- Lead discovery engagement meetings to define current gaps and pain points in order to address these through targeted demos
- Lead product demonstrations, including setting up and maintaining relevant demo portfolios and templates for example report outputs
- Work collaboratively with product managers to communicate product gaps, industry trends, competitive insights
- Assist in the development of RFP responses and drive to close new opportunities
- Provide hands-on support for trials/POCs including documenting the trial scope, length, and success criteria, and where applicable, reconciling analytics between PORT and the incumbent system
- Partner with Implementation, Solutions Architect, and PMO on solutions design and Target Operating Model for our larger more complex engagements
- Ensure detailed information transfer from the sales process to the implementation team
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a client facing role working with a Portfolio and Risk Analytics solution
- Experience working with attribution and risk models gained within the past 5 years
- Experience executing project-based work
- Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to prospects
- Critical thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solution-focused attitude
- Strong presentation and communication skills in English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- Bachelor's degree or degree equivalent qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Knowledge of BQL
- Programming experience (SQL, Python, VBA)
