Job Summary: Primary function of the job is Business development, demand creation and sales activities for Precision flow products within Saudi and Bahrain to accomplish the Sales and bookings. The position is intended to drive traditional flow technology conversation and technology adoption/acceptance of the Precision Flow products/solutions in the region. Work with the customers to understand the challenges and offer the best solution to support the customer and work towards demand generation and sales support activities to achieve the set orders targets strategic growth objectives in alignment in MSOL Business unit and the Regional strategic growth programs. This position is based in Emerson Saudi Arabia Dhahran Techno Valley office in the eastern province and reporting to Regional Director of Measurement Solution Group. Responsible for business development including product strategy, positioning, pricing, promoting, and order bookings of Precision Flow Products in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. This role encompasses the development of strategies based on the analysis of market trends, developing, and promoting product differentiators, and engaging customers to provide outstanding solutions. Meeting yearly order’s goal for assigned products and developing & implementing long term growth plans for the product line. We operate in a highly driven environment and the ability to meet our customers’ expectations, lead pursuits efficiently, and craft profitable deals is key to our success as an organization. This role plays a pivotal role in pursuing and acquire strategic projects. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Business development, sales support and project pursuit initiatives, to meet or exceed Precision Flow bookings and Sales objectives. Support the Sales team to collaborate with customers to prioritize effort, understand technology conversion opportunities, white spaces, collect competitive intelligence and improve customer service. Interpret customer technical specifications and generate strategies for making offer/ implementation/ production in consultation with Sales Engineer. Use the expertise as needed. Support sales individuals as needed - collaborate with proposal generation groups to ensure all offers reflect customer needs; products are selected and priced competitively. Participate in developing and implementing sales strategies for projects with the project leader. Collaborate with regional project pursuit leader and teams to identify the projects under various stages (Conceptual, FEED and Execution) and Promote the Precision flow capabilities to GES+ engineering contractors and end users. Maintain an accurate opportunity list and provide monthly reports and forecasts to Management. Support approvals, testing, trials and other marketing initiatives of products at strategic accounts/in new applications in Saudi together with MEA Product and Industry BDM’s. Identify new customers, applications, new product adoption and upgrade opportunities for precision flow products to get incremental business. Keep up to date with developments and trends in products, industries and market conditions in Saudi-Bahrain. Prepare and present marketing forecasts, competitor intelligence and country marketing plans along with the Regional Sales Director. Drive product and factory approval processes within identified Key Accounts demonstrating the account leaders. Work closely with other Emerson Process Management BUs to improve pull-through content and identify white spaces Improve the product, application and industry knowledge of the customer facing salespersons for Precision flow products and services by demonstrating the support form expertise. Support strengthening existing and develop new relationships with customer or third-party personnel (i.e. regulatory, legal agencies, customer technical boards, consultants, etc.) who may influence and make buying decisions. Who you are:
- Proficient with key applications and products
- Proficiency on Flow products and solutions and customer applications is encouraged
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of related industry sales, technical, experience in the Industry related to Flow Products
