We are looking for a fulltime Legal Counsel Employment Law, who will provide legal advice and guidance to the organization on all aspects of Dutch and European employment law.The Legal Counsel Employment Law reports to the Legal Director and is based in Amsterdam.

What you will do

Act as strategic business partner to HR: collaborate on employment matters in the various countries Metyis operates in and improve employment law awareness and knowledge within HR organization. Engage with HR and other relevant stakeholders in complex cases and when needed outside counsel.Manage complex employment law matters: advise on implementing and executing HR processes; advise on employment law cases and dispute resolution; drafting/reviewing relevant agreements and documents; and maintaining employment law templates.Act as go to person for employment law matters: be the first point of contact for HR organization and other relevant stakeholders for employment law related questions.

What you'll bring

Master's degree in Law from country within European Union.Knowledge of and good sense for employment law within various European regions.4-7 years relevant experience in an international business experience. Some of the experience preferably gained in reputable law firm.Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices combined with a pragmatic mindset.Good communication skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and commitment to deadlines.Fluency in English.
