Skills & Responsibilities:Administration and monitoring of a large, 24/7/365, multi-site environment hosted on Hyper-V and Oracle VM.Perform all operation management and monitoring tasks for all MECC Systems infrastructure

components including verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server

resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verifying

completion of scheduled jobs such as backups for all platforms.Troubleshoot system, storage and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or

software faults.Provide technical consultant, support, troubleshooting and administration of all VMWare,

Hyper-V, Oracle Servers, Windows, Linux, Oracle Solaris, and EMC & Oracle Storage systems.Monitor performance, Manage and Maintain / troubleshoot IT systems and StorageCreate workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are

resolved in a timely fashion.Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal and

external resourcesInvestigating, Diagnosing and solving software and hardware problems and issues.Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system componentsPerforms incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with Service Level AgreementsAbility to produce system performance and capacity reports and perform tactical analysisAbility to work on multiple priorities and/or support cases simultaneouslyAbility to build positive and collaborative relationships inside and outside the organizationExcellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to complete tasks in both a professional and timely manner with minimal supervision.Education and Experience Requirements:BSc. Degree in Computer Science Engineering and at least 10 years prior relevant experience

is preferred.Professional level certification(s), or equivalent experience, is preferredClear understanding of Virtualized environments with VMware, Hyper-V and Oracle VM and

Microsoft Azure Cloud ServicesExperience minimum 7 Years in Systems Administrator, System Engineer (Familiarity with

various operating systems and platforms, OS: Windows Server, Unix, Oracle Solaris,

Software: VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM, Oracle Fusion Middleware.Experience working with Microsoft technologies including; SQL/Windows/Exchange Server,

Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM, IIS.Strong Knowledge in Firewall and Network configuration.Troubleshooting system, storage and network problems and diagnosing and solving

hardware/software faults.Monitor and maintain Server, VMWare, Hyper-V, Oracle VM, EMC and Oracle StorageExtensive knowledge of SCCM Configuration Manager focusing on packaging and distribution.#J-18808-Ljbffr
