Job PurposeManages purchasing activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the assigned disciplines and has responsibility for the entire purchasing activity assigned to him.Job Description Manage the procurement of material and services, expediting and freight forwarding activities to support projecttenders and execution Responsible for procurement resource and process management in support of regional business outlook and plan Lead and manage the Buyers and other team members responsible for the tactical execution of the procurementstrategy including approving quality of work, in accordance with local and global procedures Monitor market developments in terms of process improvement, supplier workload and market pricing trend Carry out complex/strategic purchasing activities of the entity Prepares the project supplier list, and selects the suppliers from whom to order for their own sector of commoditieswith the collaboration of Global Category network Recommend the necessary improvements of Company policies and procedures Conduct all necessary performance management process and drive to grow individual and group competencies. Plan and manage procurement activities to ensure compliance with the contract clauses for the delivery of materialsand services Support tender input to ensure appropriate sustainable pricing is provided and in alignment with the CategoryStrategies Proactively collaborate with Global Sourcing organization, providing input and ensuring procurement execution isproperly aligned with category strategy Develop and drive procurement execution strategy to ensure supply base meets safety, quality, delivery and costrequirements Contribute to supplier management, through the preparation and use of performance indicators. Responsible for maintaining good execution relationship with suppliers Prepare and manage operational budget of cost center Work with cross functional groups to meet company objectives Exhibit leadership and set professional standards as representative of the Global Sourcing and Procurement groupYou are meant for this job if:A. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION: Min. Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.B. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Min. eight (8) years of experience as manager in the supply chain area.REQUIRED CERTIFICATE(S): Engineering Degree Supply Chain Degree Master in Business Administration or similarSkillsAdditional SkillsREQUIRED INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Recognized as a functional expert and thought leader within the organization/industry Exceptional understanding of tactical procurement processes and the ability to execute same Working knowledge of MRP is a requirement, and SAP/Oracle is preferable Excellent understanding of the principles of category management, supplier quality/development, foreign tradeand taxation. Demonstrated strong project management and planning skills REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Strong written and verbal communication with the proven ability to negotiate and influence Leadership and people management skills. Proven ability to coach and mentor others Ability to foster communication within a diverse cultural environment Advanced analytical and problem solving skills C.
