The role holder is responsible for Managing Ooredoo Group (operations & joint ventures) to drive Opcos' performance improvements, to maximise their return, analyse, consolidate their deliveries and provide meaningful reports to the senior management for informed decision making.

Role Accountabilities :

Monitor performance of Ooredoo Operating Companies and recommend strategies to remedy poor performance and implement/share best practices to provide clear visibility and recommendation of improvement programs/actions on the business performance.Ensures that current investments and result are in line with the strategic top down targetsLead (and improve where necessary) the financial performance monitoring process to provide accurate and up to date information to top Management in relation to the performance of its investmentsManage the monthly closing, quarterly and Year-To-Date financial management and board reports ensuring all inputs are accurate and provide commentary and recommendations.Reviews and provides support leading to monthly / quarterly review of OpCos performances by GCEO / DGCEO / GCFO.Leads the implementation of financial policies and procedures within the OpCos in own area ensuring they are adhered to and are working effectively.Works with Group Strategy in setting shareholder expectation leading to business plans.Work closely with Opcos' finance counterparts to monitor performance and to ensure open discussion, review, verification, challenging and completion of Annual Budget and 3 Year Business Plans.Supports Group consolidated business plans, evaluation of investments based on long-term projections (10 year model) and liaise with auditors for valuation of investmentsSupports in validating Corporate and OpCos' scorecards for CEO and CFO and validates the measures as part of annual appraisalsRecommend and agree suitable KPIs on which to report to top Management to drive forward the achievement of targets.Manages relevant GMC and GTC action items in line with expectations and timelinesReviews investment proposals from OpCos and provides clearance to approving authorities in Group in accordance with DOA matrixEnsure monthly variance analysis, benchmarking, financial modelling across the OpCos in own area are executed and ensure they have the necessary knowledge and ability to meet their requirements.Regularly review data quality within the various OpCos identifying the gap between realized and expected outcomes.Ensure that all information gathering from group companies is carried out in a prompt, efficient manner and in accordance with the deadlines.Communicate promptly and appropriately with the group companies, as directed by Deputy Group CFO/ Group CFO to ensure full understanding and timely submission of all requests.Drive forward financial process improvements to increase automation and reduce manual interventionProvide guidance and support to all group companies to maximise returns whilst minimising potential losses (minimising risk exposure).Engage with and review investment opportunities which may be initiated by Group Wholesale team.Assists in preparation of financial data related to Stock Market and research Releases.Manages and delivers on any one-off Group-led assignments from time to time.Work with the OPCO's to support Transformation programsExperience & Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 10+ years' experience within a telecom environment, coupled with at least 5 years of exposure/understanding of medium terms business & strategic plan, consolidation, evaluation, and investment opportunitiesWorked at a senior level within an organization to formulate a strategyProven ability to manage the delivery and development of financial performance reporting across a Group or large organisation.Knowledge of general accounting, General Ledger, and financial statements in international standards.Strong experience in a Financial Reporting Environment and Financial Reporting SystemsGood working knowledge of Information Systems and Financial Consolidation and reporting tools (i.e. Hyperion, Cognos, Oracle, OFA)Proficient with MS OfficeNote: you will be required to attach the following:
