Job details
Job Summary: As a General Practitioner working in the offshore oil and gas industry, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to the crew and personnel on an offshore rig or platform. Your primary role is to ensure the health and well-being of all employees in the challenging offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Care: Provide general medical care and treatment to employees as needed. Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries. Administer first aid and emergency medical care when required.
Medical Records: Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all personnel. Document all medical treatments, prescriptions, and patient interactions.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and coordinate evacuations if necessary. Participate in safety drills and training to ensure readiness for emergencies.
Health Promotion: Provide health education and preventive care advice to employees. Promote a culture of health and...
