Job SummaryYou will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Mobile-Android applications and software by analyzing user requirements and defining application functionality. Perform coding, software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting tasks.Job ObjectivesBuild and develop high-performing, Mobile-Android applications, Interfaces, and contribute to all phases of the application development lifecycle from designing to testing.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign & DevelopmentDesign, create and implement Mobile-Android applicationsIdentify the Mobile-Android application design patternCreate project branches and handle the merge of branchesConceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Mobile-Android devices.Implementing measures to safeguard users' data.Interpret requirements to create high-quality coding that functions according to specificationsEnsuring that the construction and presentation of the apps are congruent with iHorizon's standardsWrite testable and scalable codes and ensure they are in line with the project objectivesIdentify and resolve immediate and potential issues with the applicationsEvaluate and embed SDKs into applications as per the required functionalityRespond to all code vulnerabilities and prepare an execution plan to overcome reported issuesMaintenance and CollaborationProvide end-user support and resolve implementation issuesCollaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and inperfect working order.Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for releaseAdopt and apply the Object-Oriented Programming StandardConduct a code review session with other developersFollow iHorizons development culture by attending the daily scrums and working in agile-based environmentProvide tasks estimations/durationsManage Git-based code repositoriesAssist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and codingDeploymentsHandle the store deployments by managing APKs, versions, etc.Prepare the store setup and app presenceJob RequirementsEducational QualificationBachelor's degree in computer science or a related fieldLicenses & CertificationsCertification in coding, preferredPrevious Work ExperienceOverall, 5 to 7 years of experience in Android-based programmingKnowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and librariesExperience in using Java/ KotlinPublished one or more Android apps.Own a strong portfolio of top-class coding and buildsSkills and AbilitiesSignificant coding skills in Java and Kotlin with other languages is a major plusHave a solid understanding of the Android platform.Capability of making use of standard libraries and APIs.Strong Knowledge of the application design pattern.Analytical and issue-resolution abilitiesCritical thinking and problem-solving skills
