Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor? Our growing client needs you! The client is an established construction company operating across the UK and Ireland. Working mostly onRedevelopments, construction,and refurbishments across varying sectors. Duties Evaluate construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialistrequirements. Preparation of documents, sourcing and obtaining material and subcontractor quotations. Final negotiations and orders. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost effective working. Liaise with clients to agree rates/variations and cost analysis. Measure works as per contracted. Completion of interim valuations and final accounts within the agreed timescales. Work alongside management and accounts to ensure accurate cost management of the project to deliver a profitable outcome. Complete monthly reports for Management and Client Progress Meetings. Attend Site Progress Meetings. Required Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management or in other related disciplines. Experience in Estimating / Quantity Surveying role for a contracting organisation for at least 3 years. Excellent commercial and communication skills. Be able to demonstrate initiative whilst working in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft packages including outlook, word, excel and project.
