Job Description
- Drafting, reviewing, and updating wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Providing legal advice to clients on matters related to estate administration and distribution.
- Handling probate applications and navigating the probate process.
- Advising clients on strategies for minimising estate taxes and ensuring efficient wealth transfer.
- Resolving disputes and litigation related to wills and estates, when necessary.
- Collaborating with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.
- Staying informed about changes in legislation and case law affecting Wills & Estates in the ACT and NSW.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in PQE in Wills and Estates.
- Implement a high level of attention to detail with clients and pride yourself on the quality of service.
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Excellent ability to draft legal documents and correspondents in clear and concise language
- Able to take direction from senior managers and lawyers
- Be an experienced litigator looking to take your career to the next level
