ServiceNow Reporting AnalystApex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has two openings for ServiceNow Reporting Analysts with extensive cloud, CMDB, and Asset Management experience to support reporting and dashboard aggregation for a major hardware and software asset management project at our client, a Big Five Bank.Client: Big Five BankTerms: 6-month contractLocation: Currently 100% Remote.Application Process: It is best to apply via the medium on which you are seeing this posting. Please reference ServiceNow Reporting Analyst.Project:ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Asset Management around the Banks inventory and end-of-life reporting for their cloud, software, and hardware assets.The team is standing up a new Asset Management process within ServiceNow for software and hardware updates as well as end-of-life reporting to provide up to date metrics for the entire list of software and hardware inventory assets across the Bank.Job Description:The initial, primary focus of work is expected to include:Reporting and Performance Analytics for regulatory currency management initiative.Primary areas include Discovery/CMDB, Hardware Assets, Software Assets, and lifecycle reporting.Leverage PowerBI to create reports on KPIs and metrics that answer key business questions to help increase quality and reduce the costs of service delivery and asset tracking.Preparing reports based on performance analysis and presenting them to management on demand.Provide the latest data to engage in fact-based discussions with the Senior management and core stakeholders.Provide Real-time visibility into data and predictive forecasts for enhanced decision-making.Setting up thresholds, such as all-time highs, lows, or predefined values that automatically generate alerts.Provide Text analytics, which goes beyond structured data to extract trends and patterns from freeform data.Offer interactive filtering that provides end-to-end transparency across processes and timelines.Work directly with key stakeholders to understand requirements while documenting designs and configurations.Ensure accurate estimates of work effort for design and configurations within ServiceNow.Manage the testing of reports and work defects to resolution.Core Technical Experience:5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and/or administration.Proficient in ServiceNow reporting and analytics capabilities, including Performance Analytics and Reporting APIs.Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies, such as SQL, MicroStrategy, and Power BI.Extensive ServiceNow experience with strong ITAM, ITSM, CSM and CMDB knowledge.Strong Cloud experience and knowledgeAWS / AzureUnderstand CMDB and necessary tables.Understand containers and relevant image data.Understanding of Hardware IT assets, Software IT asset, and Consumables (low IT cost accessories).A background with ServiceNow ITAMBuilding workflowsCreating reports and performance analyticsData discoveryVendor optimizationAsset AssignmentAutomated annual asset inventory and historical asset data.Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, Agile and Scrum methodologiesExperience optimizing the performance of data-related processes within ServiceNow.Interview Process: Interviews will take place in two rounds, one technical test and one process driven discussion.This is a great opportunity to join a Big Five Bank and continue your career in the financial domain.
