Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced HPC Simulation, Application installation & Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and extensive experience in installing, configuring, and supporting simulation applications across various domains, including Ansys Fluent, Quantum ATK, COMSOL, Synopsys VCS. Responsibilities
Familiar with tools like Quantum ATK, COMSOL, Synopsys VCS & Ansys Fluent Lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of HPC simulation applications, ensuring compatibility with diverse hardware architectures. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues related to application compatibility and performance.
Offer technical support to end-users for HPC simulation applications, addressing issues related to installation, configuration, and usage. Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve hardware and network-related problems affecting simulation performance.
Must have worked in deploying Linux based HPC clusters using HPC cluster managers or open-source tools or cloud native tools like Pcluster and ghpc toolkit. Must have worked with shared file system & parallel file system. In depth understanding about SLURM workload manager, scheduling jobs and managing resources
Work closely with users and application developers to optimize simulation workflows for improved performance and efficiency. Implement best practices for parallel computing and resource utilization in HPC environments.
Create comprehensive documentation for installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices. Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams on the proper usage and optimization of HPC simulation applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments. Experience with Quantum ATK, COMSOL, Synopsys VSC & Ansys Fluent Knowledge about workload managers like Altair PBS Pro and SLURM will be advantage Familiarity with cloud-based HPC solutions.
