Tasks
- Building and developing engineering teams: proper design, development, and hiring
- Building and developing production management processes, delivery, and ops
- Ensuring engineering excellence and technical quality of the product at all stages of production: ensuring the quality of design solutions and architecture, as well as of development, delivery, and operation using best practices in engineering
- Formulating a vision and strategy for Playrix's platform services
Requirements
- Engineering background (degree) and development experience
- Experience in product development (mobile, web)
- Experience managing a team of engineers (40+ people): hiring as well as coordinating and improving efficiency
- Experience creating a culture of independent and self-organized teams
- Experience building and developing flexible processes of production, delivery, and product operation
- Experience implementing changes/improvements at the department and company level
Preferred
- Experience working with high-load products with distributed architecture
- Stack: C++, Python, Go, JS
- Experience producing tools for game development
- Understanding of game engine architecture
