Who Youll Work With

You will part of our EEMA Client Capabilities Network (CCN). You will work closely with local team colleagues with whom you will be collaborating daily. Additionally you will interact with a wide range of analysts from the EEMA region. Your focus will be on providing research and coverage on a wide range of topics for the Egypt region. Within the team you will be a part of the capability providing insights on market including macro economy public and private sector. McKinsey leaders will provide sponsorship and mentor you to build your capabilities. Over 7000 McKinsey client capabilities professionals across the globe work alongside our consultants to deliver Change that Matters to our clients. They collaborate with consultant teams both remotely and at client sites in an agile and targeted way. Further they are core to our firms R&D development of new knowledge building of proprietary capabilities as assets and data sets. Our portfolio includes stateoftheart research databacked rapid diagnostics benchmarking and workflow support. The professionals have deep expertise and apply a broad range of methodologies to address specialized ondemand analyses.

What Youll Do

You will have the opportunity to work alongside senior knowledge professionals on larger client projects and internal knowledge initiatives. By collecting and analyzing data and information found in databases and/or other primary and secondary research tools you will assemble a fact base counsel consultants and clients on the scope of business and economic trends surrounding the issue and provide insights and analysis for solving client problems at hand. Your work will primarily focus on the Egyptian market. Your daytoday tasks may include identifying the key issues facing our clients and determining the most appropriate solution while effectively balancing quality availability timeliness and cost factors. Youll likely perform a variety of analyses such as benchmarking trend identification opportunity scanning etc. in order to add value to problemsolving discussions. Youll also provide synthesis insights and client implications within tight deadlines via end products in the form of PowerPoint documents written memos models in Excel and frameworks. In time you will also participate in and eventually lead internal knowledge development and capabilitybuilding initiatives and use advanced analytics tools to prepare and analyze large datasets to distill insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree; knowledge of finance/economics/business/mathematics/statistics or engineering
• 1 years of experience in research and analysis for business decision making
• Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to accomplish work in a fastpaced and dynamic environments
• Ability to work well in a team setting and across all levels within an organization
• Demonstrated relevant research experience in an academic or business setting
