Summary The Marketing and Communications Director at ENOWA is a pivotal role responsible for leading the organization's efforts in brand building, strategic communications, and public relations, with a focus on renewable energy, smart grid infrastructure, sustainable water management, and green hydrogen production. The role ensures alignment of marketing and comms plans with ENOWA's goals of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration within NEOM's vision of the future.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, NEOM central marketing team and external partners to amplify ENOWA's message and positioning in the global market.Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of ENOWA's brand strategy, ensuring it aligns with our mission of sustainability and innovation and grow the reputation of ENOWA brand in the industry.Oversee all communications efforts, including media relations, corporate communications, and internal messaging to ensure consistency and impact.Develop and manage a proactive public relations strategy to elevate ENOWA's profile and thought leadership in the industry as well as protect its reputation through effective crisis comms.Identify and leverage trade shows, events, and other opportunities for attendance or participation to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.Craft compelling narratives and messaging for ENOWA's initiatives in renewable energy, smart grid infrastructure, water sustainability, and green hydrogen.Develop, monitor and drive KPIs for ENOWA marketing activities rolling up to business objectives.Foster collaboration between marketing and communications teams across ENOWA's various divisions, ensuring consistent messaging, brand alignment and integrated planning.Oversee the creation of marketing and communications materials, including digital content, press releases, and marketing collateral.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communications campaigns, using data and insights to optimize strategies.Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes.Work closely with agencies communicating clear and concise information as an aid to build robust and actionable plan.Collaborate effectively with NEOM Central Marketing and Communications teams, engage in joint initiatives, complying with central marketing operating model & utilizing central services to enable and accelerate ENOWA's marketing and communications activities.Align annual, quarterly, and monthly plans and report on marketing KPIs to ENOWA LT team and Central Marketing & Communications team.Key Behavioural SkillsStrategic and innovative thinker, capable of seeing the big picture and translating it into actionable plans.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Collaborative leader, adept at working across functions and divisions to achieve common goals.Adaptable and resilient, able to navigate changing environments and emerging challenges.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on results and impact.Cultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly in a Middle Eastern context, with an ability to work effectively in a global setting.Knowledge and Experience A minimum of 15 years of experience in brand building and / or communications, with a preference for candidates with experience in the energy, water, or sustainability sectorsProven track record in developing and executing successful integrated marketing and communications strategies.Demonstrated expertise in crafting and launching new brands, along with executing high-impact brand campaigns that elevate awareness across internal and external audiences.Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.Strong understanding of media relations, brand management, digital and product marketing.Experience in crisis communication and managing complex stakeholder relations.QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related fieldRelevant industry qualifications
