The roles' core function will be to Lead the Security and Fire Safety Engineering of Cluster of projects in NEOM, overlooking the contact between the team and masterplan developers, finance, proponents, and project team to ensure that Security and Fire Safety requirements have been incorporated in all plans. The role holder will manage engineering analysis, design reviews and make decisions on behalf of the Security and Fire Safety Function. Ensure that there is adequate liaison and understanding of NEOM and Public Safety requirements between Public Safety and contractors, consultants, and suppliers.The role will require a high level of interpersonal skills, high-level of understanding for different technologies, diplomacy, and a culturally appropriate attitude that perfectly embodies diversity's NEOM mindset.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIESKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise all activities related to Security and Fire Safety scope in NEOM engineering regional developments and ensure compliance to all Public Safety standards and requirements. Manage and Work with a team of engineering consultants and designers.Coordinates and directs all functional managers to ensure full compliance with all project requirements and optimize Security and Fire Safety engineering designs by integrating technologies in NEOM regional developments.Conduct requirements-driven analysis across Public Safety proponents to drive effective liaison and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Work with various NEOM proponents to ensure Security and Fire Safety technology integration across Public Safety functional areas and being accountable for unit deliverables.Oversee engineering activities with an experience of inspection, design, construction and compliance.Engage with management of Public Safety and NEOM regions proponents to evaluate critical design trade-off. Liaise with the project supervision team, coordinate and resolve any issues of concern.Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.Engage subject matter experts to deliver defined work packages in support of Public Safety technology and integration.Lead the review of NEOM development documentation carefully to gain a thorough understanding of NEOM's project requirements, and to ensure that his review is focused on, and reflects these key drivers.Accountable for Public Safety Engineering deliverables.Lead the reviews of engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and materials and equipment specifications.Develop and follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Consult and attend meetings as necessary with the relevant authorities/stakeholders/departments in relation to the Project.Manage the documentation of items discussed with authorities in letters/meeting minutes and issue to applicable party and NEOM Public Safety.Organize and prepare presentation documentation for compliance reviews. The presentation shall clearly communicate the project status at each interim stage and end of stage. The presentation must provide an accurate representative sample of coordinated and current project information (including specialty consultants) relevant to Public Safety.Advise NEOM Public Safety of all relevant correspondence from or to him and provide copies (written or electronic) as necessary.To conduct any other reasonable, discipline related duties that are requested.BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEngineering Knowledge of Security High Commission of Industrial Security (HCIS) Directives, ASIS, ISO, Saudi building codes, IBC, OSHA and NFPAA significant track record in engineering and construction for Security and Safety scope. Experience in engaging multiple vendors and/or subcontractors in consultancy, equipment and/or service operations domains.Has experience on big projects.Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, and design details. Should be familiar with international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.Having ASIS PSP OSHA certification and other Security and Fire Safety certificates is a plus.QualificationsMinimum bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.Relevant years' experience in engineering design and constructionMAIN CONTACTS
