One of our esteemed clients based in the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabiais seeking a Senior Sourcing Engineer.
JobPurpose:To lead the efforts in exploring,initiating, developing and validating opportunities in supply chain management, qualityimprovements, cost savings and other sourcing related opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement companys' material and services sourcing strategies, policies, andprocedures in conjunction withall concerned personnel. Identify and evaluate strategic suppliers for all the identified goodsand services categories. Categorize Goods and Services to ensure the optimum segmentation of the Supply Chain. Develop Suppliers selection criteria based on companys' business strategies to develop an approvedsupplier list thatprovides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology. Use project management skills and tools to investigate alternate component technologies forimproved quality andreliability and implement changes. Develop baseline/current spend analysis to determine the appropriate sourcing strategy. Conduct market assessment of suppliers and their supply chain. Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for materials withoutsacrificing quality ordelivery times. Analyze and interpret market conditions, trends, and data to identify market opportunities. Identify opportunities to enhance business performance through improved analytics andreporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor university degree in related Engineering disciplines. Certification in SCM/PMP or related professional certification.9+ years of experience in the related field. Excellent analytical and problem-solving Skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Application. Good Interpersonal Skills
