Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil)NationalityAny NationalityAnyVacancy1 VacancyJob DescriptionGeneral Description of Role and Responsibilities:Develop GIS databases, applications, and services to support project needsPerform spatial analysis and data manipulation to support project goalsPerform essential data collection and analysis duties, including compiling and entering various types of data into GIS databases, digitizing maps, reviewing data for accuracy and currency,Create and maintain cluster and other GIS data layersPrepare and present GIS-based maps and reportsManage GIS datasets and metadataDevelop GIS applications to support project needsProvide technical assistance and support to other GIS staffPerform quality assurance and quality control on GIS dataAssist with GIS training and other GIS related activitiesInforms themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelors Degree (Geography / Civil Engineering / Urban Planning or Urban Design)Masters Degree in GIS (preferable) from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years experience in National, Regional, Sub-Regional and City Wide GIS Mapping (emphasis on Infrastructure mapping).Extensive experience of working internationally (preference for KSA / GCC).A record of close engagement with relevant National GIS stakeholders and data providers (asset holders).Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Arabic an advantage).Employment TypeFull TimeCompany Industry Construction Civil Engineering Department / Functional Area Geotechnical Geologists Keywords GIS Project Manager GIS Manager Geospatial Manager GIS Program Manager Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
