Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Deputy Regional Manager on a permanent basis, with a Belfast base, and travel to our client's locations in Northern Ireland when required. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role. This is a brand-new opportunity, offered on a part-time basis and our client is a multiple award-winning care provider with over 40 years of experience in delivering first-class care, along with deep ties to the communities in which they are based. They also employ over 500 members of staff across six care homes throughout Northern Ireland. There is scope for part-time through to full-time with a 3-day week minimum along with flexibility around working hours that will be discussed at interview stage. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Home Manager looking to take the next step in their career, or for an experienced Deputy Manager to work with one of the country's best providers in care. Responsibilities: With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will: Work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure effective management of six care homes throughout Northern Ireland, with a focus on quality, performance, and improvement initiatives while working closely with management. Assist in carrying out audits, development, Reg 29 visits, and on occasion temporary management of a care home in the absence of the manager. Requirements: RGN/RMN with NMC registration. Level 5 Leadership and Management desirable. 2-year minimum experience in Nursing Home Management or a Regional position. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes. Flexible to work hours outside of Mon-Fri when required. Project management, management of improvements, community engagement, and an understanding of local areas is highly desirable.
