Job Description

Emumba is looking for a seasoned AWS Solution Architect with over 5 years of experience and expertise in AWS cloud migration. This individual will play a crucial role in pre-sales, designing, architecting, and implementing AWS migration strategies and solutions for our clients, ensuring smooth transitions to the AWS cloud environment.

Requirements

Skills, Experience and Qualification
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a focus on AWS cloud solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, with a strong emphasis on migration-related services.
  • Experience in planning and executing cloud migration projects, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting.
  • Proficient in cloud architecture best practices, security principles, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional would be a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to run technical workshops by comprehending their migration requirements, contributing to scoping, estimating, and defining project objectives for alignment with customer expectations.
  • Design, architect, and document migration strategies to AWS, taking into account factors like application dependencies, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migrations, promptly addressing any challenges that may arise during the process.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams involved in migration projects, promoting best practices and ensuring high-quality delivery.
