Production Supervisor

Department: Operations Reports To: Production Manager

• Previous experience in metal fabrication necessary.
• 2 years experience in a people management role in a technical production environment.
• Experience of production planning and scheduling.
• Candidate must also be capable of reading detailed technical drawings.
• Must be computer literate. Production Supervisor Duties
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with processes, completing all necessary.
• Documentation and submitting to Production Manager.
• Plan work activities and employee resources.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of workshop activities, equipment and processes.
• Oversee housekeeping and availability of workshop tools, equipment and expendables.
• Monitoring and reporting on production progress.
• Liaise with our design department to ensure workshop drawings are accurate and complete.
• Assist with various other tasks such as troubleshooting for the fabricators. I.E. If additional information is needed from the drawing office to help.
