Early Choldhood Educator

Business Address: Unit 101, Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3T 0E1 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (35 to 40 hours a week) Wage: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Duties: Planning, implementing and evaluating curriculum for children; Assisting children with exploring, leaning and sharing; Participate in diapering, toilet training and bathroom duties for the children; Foster a positive learning environment through play-based activities. Monitoring the children's progress and development; Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all children; Ensuring positive communication with children and parents and co-educators Attending and participating in monthly staff, parent meetings; Assist and work closely with other Early Childhood Educators or Supervisors in keeping records; Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties; Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children; Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other ECEs or ECEAs. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians. Promote diversity, inclusion, and professional development. Support families and maintain accurate documentation. Skills requirement: Education: Completion of Secondary school is required. Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate Experience: Experience would be an asset Good command of English both, written and oral Security and Safety: Criminal record check Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity.
