Location of work : 15081 Spenser Dr, Surrey BC, V3S 5Z6, Canada (Various sites in the Lower Mainland) Job title: Construction Painter No. of vacancies: 6 Start Date: As soon as possible Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 40 hours per week. Wage: $27.50 - 29 per hour; To be negotiated. Benefits: 4% vacation pay. Extended Medical Coverage for of up to 80% after completing 90 days with the company JOB REQUIREMENT Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: Minimum 1 year experience Language: English JOB DUTIES Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted Repair cracks and holes Mix paint to desired color and texture Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces Estimate costs and materials Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or on weekends, if required. Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all weather conditions.
