You will be working on technologies that help companies test their communications networks, helping them to provide reliable and fast networks for you and I to use every day. They are experiencing an exciting time of expansion, and are hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team! What you will bring Knowledgeable in C/C++ programming languages in a Linux ecosystem Ideally 3+ years of experience A solid foundation in software engineering principles and practices You will play an integral role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that contribute to the organisation's success and growth Familiarity with relational databases Ability to work independently with no red tape The Role Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and translate software requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications, following established coding standards and best practices Write clean, well-structured code across the software stack Prioritise scalability, reliability, and performance Participate actively in code reviews to elevate code quality Collaborate closely with QA teams to ensure robust software functionality To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please contact Jess Ritchie, IT Recruitment Consultant at MCS Group or click the apply button below.
