Software Engineer

This position is ideal for a Junior to Mid level Software developer focused in Java or Node.js. Now aiming to expand its technology foundation to enhance and automate workflows across the financial sector, the company seeks dedicated professionals to join its journey. Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Applications Engineer to join their Business Operations team. This role involves supporting internal departments by developing, implementing, and customising business applications, and contributing to worldwide projects and business operations policies. Key Responsibilities: Develop, troubleshoot, and enhance key business applications (e.g., Domo, Salesforce, Jira). Implement cloud-based software, gather business requirements, and participate in vendor selection. Provide technical support, resolve critical system problems, and educate users on best practices. Coordinate with vendors for critical support issues, potentially requiring after-hours availability. Qualifications: Proficiency in full-stack environments, including Java, Node.JS, Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Familiarity with non-relational databases like MongoDB and knowledge of security practices. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
