Job Description
This role is responsible for managing and coordinating all dispatch processes within Parrotdog and plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and relationships between Parrotdog and its Customers. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service will be crucial in this role. Key responsibilities will include:- Direct and coordinate full order cycle while keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times and transport costs ensuring efficiency
- Strategically plan and manage systems and processes delivering quality customer service and professionalism
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Ultimate responsibility for the processing and managing of orders through WMS and ERP systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Oversee the performance of dispatch staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, including production and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and communication
- Monitor and analyse key performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive quality service and operations
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, leadership experience and a real passion for beer. To be successful in this role, you will need- Computer literacy, forklift licence and dispatch experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High standards, a great attention to detail and problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics softwares
- Understanding of Health and Safety standards, management & implementation
- Experience maintaining freight partner and supplier relations
