In your new role you will:
- Lead and manage a team of Process Integration and Product Engineering engineers to achieve organization’s objectives in terms of yield, quality, stability, and cost in a high-volume Frontend (FE) Wafer Fabrication environment
- Support new technology/product development and transfer from silicon foundry and other Infineon sites in all stages of development/transfer through to production release
- Be responsible for technology and product Ramp-up after transfer/development, technology and product ownership after ramp
- Initiate continuous improvement and drive cross-functional teams to achieve the next level of high performance in terms of technology stability, yield, cost, and quality
- Establish and maintain cross-functional collaboration & relationships with all internal & external stakeholders such as global business units, multi-FE manufacturing partners including foundry, on-site production, various Back End sites, and internal stakeholders
- Lead deviation management, including risk assessment, root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, process control, and monitoring
- Lead or support process change management, including technical assessment/FMEA of process changes and execution of change management process to ensure smooth and error-free transition of changes
- Provide leadership in problem-solving requiring technology/product-specific expertise and lead the resolution of complex technical issues (Task Force, Focus Team, 8D)
- Prioritize multiple activities and make effective decisions to support high-performance volume production and transfer/improvement activities
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of employees, ensuring the development of a talent pipeline to meet the dynamic needs of the organization
- Support various organizational efforts to achieve a great working environment
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor / Master Degree / PhD in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Physics / Material Science / Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
- Minimum 12 years of working experience in wafer fabrication or semiconductor industry
- Experience in working/managing silicon foundry/external fab material would be an advantage
- Relevant experience in Process Integration/Product Engineering in wafer fabrication or semiconductor industry would be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge of semiconductor device physics, Process Integration, and Product Engineering knowledge
- Excellent leadership skills, ability to manage, organize, and coordinate multiple projects in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff in a diverse team
- Excellent strategic, systematic, analytical, and tactful skills that can be applied in an organizational context
- Ability to cope with pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
