Software Technologist I (Java Full Stack Developer)Job Description
You are responsible for- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust healthcare system software within an Agile Scrum team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Work closely with architects and implement scalable and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare system.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, scalability, and performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, and adopt best practices, learn new tools, and emerging technologies in healthcare and software development.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience as a senior software developer in healthcare or related industries.
- Expertise in software design, architecture, and development using relevant technologies (e.g., Java, React, JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, Spring Boot, AWS, Postgres, Docker).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and familiarity with JIRA or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Having some knowledge of DevOps skills, Terraform script, and DataDog monitoring tools would be a plus.
- A strong understanding of healthcare data standards, regulations, and interoperability would be a plus.
