Duties
- Coordinate classification actions that may have organization-wide impact with leadership and program managers and explain in detail the rationale for classification findings.
- Serve as an advisor to multiple management units for activities involving classification of positions.
- Provide authoritative advice on complex classification adjudications; interpret position management principles, practices, and criteria for application to organizational needs.
- Collaborate with leadership across the organization and is responsible for building and maintaining a rapport to effectively communicate findings.
- Provide or arrange for specific technical training necessary for accomplishment of individual and team tasks.
- Evaluate, present findings, and propose recommendations to managers while considering classification implications, alignment with other organizations, reduction in overhead costs, logical workflow, or recognized efficiencies.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.
