VoIP Support Engineer - DurbanFull job descriptionJob Description – VoIP Support EngineerSummary of roleWe are fast expanding Managed Service Provider supporting variety of businesses in the UK and in Europe.We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated VoIP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting our VoIP solutions, ensuring high-quality voice communication for our clients.ResponsibilitiesDesign, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain VoIP systems and networks for our clients.Provide technical support and guidance to clients on VoIP issues and best practices.Monitor and optimize VoIP performance, quality, and security.Test and evaluate new VoIP technologies and solutions.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with VoIP technologies (e.g., SIP, RTP, Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya, etc.).Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols, standards, and architectures.Solid understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, VPNs).Familiarity with VoIP security best practices.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable requirements and skillsExperience working either for a Managed Service Provider or an IT Support business.Experience in remote managing and monitoring tools.Certifications in VoIP or related fields.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: R18 000,00 - R24 000,00 per monthExperience:VoIP: 3 years (Required)
