Manager, Sustainability Assurance (Hybrid) As the Sustainability Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of external assurance and internal audit services to clients to ensure that clients' sustainability reports comply with relevant standards and guidelines, and are credible and reliable. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively manage the firm's sustainability assurance and GHG verification practice globally as an auditor.
- Actively manage the firm's ESG internal audit engagements as an auditor.
- Participate in the development and implementation of assurance and verification methodology and processes in accordance with required standards.
- Manage assurance and verification engagements, including planning, execution and delivery.
- Ensure that engagements are completed on time, and in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in sustainability reporting, assurance and verification standards and ethics guidelines.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's sustainability assurance and verification services.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity and ethics.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability reporting, assurance, or GHG verification services.
- A thorough understanding of the principles, requirements, and guidelines set forth in the AA1000 Assurance Standard and ISAE 3000 (Revised) Standard is required. An AA1000 assurance practitioner certification will be an advantage.
- Strong auditing and assurance skills, including experience in the design and implementation of audit programs, audit planning, and report writing. Experience in identifying and assessing risk and in evaluating and testing internal controls is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in sustainability report assurance and GHG verification.
- Strong understanding of sustainability reporting standards and guidelines, including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and GHG Protocol.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and energy, and resourcefulness.
- Trustworthy, self-starter, and independent.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
