Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination with Asia hub entities regarding green coffee quality assessments, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Facilitate communication and information exchange between internal teams and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist with the importation of green coffee shipments from Asia hub entities, ensuring compliance with import regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation requirements for samples prior to shipment.
  • Track and monitor the progress of green coffee shipments in transit, proactively addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
  • Support in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are align with regulatory requirements, industry guidelines and organisation's policies.
  • Assist in monitoring and updating existing HACCP, SOP, AND QA programs, procedures, and document control programs.
  • Participate in quality management system reviews and promote quality and food safety policies to all personnels.
  • Verify quality control (QC) records, test results and reports for regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of green coffee samples received from Asia hub entities to assess quality, flavour profiles, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Trade team to establish quality standards and criteria for green coffee selection, providing feedback based on sample evaluations.
  • Maintain detailed records of sample evaluations, including cupping scores, flavour notes, and supplier information.
  • Oversee the entire roasting process, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain roasting equipment, including regular cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in any field with at least 2-3 years of working experiences
  • Passionate to be part of coffee industry and highly meticulous.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
  • Good verbal and written communication in English and other Asian languages preferred.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Detail oriented and able to follow through on tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Quick learner and forward thinker
