About the Job

We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Senior Engineer to join us in Bahrain for the construction supervision and plant commissioning of a Desalination Plant. The role involves supervising the EPC Contractor Works on site in an EPC Contract model, with a duration of around 24 months. The selected candidate will be responsible for being the Electro-mechanical Inspector Supervisor on-site and the Construction Supervision Team leader on-site. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Supervising construction according to technical specs and quality of electro-mechanical equipment.
  2. Experience in progress control and cost control (certifications).
  3. Wide vision of Desalination plant construction beyond technical aspects.
  4. Commissioning experience in desalination plants, SWRO, or BWRO.
  5. Daily monitoring of ongoing construction works.
  6. Reviewing and approving Contractor prepared Main Procedures.
  7. Issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and SOR (Site Observation Reports) for quality checking.
  8. Preparing Monthly Reports for the Owner.
  9. Reviewing and approving interim and final Payment Certificates from Contractor.
  10. Identifying risks and issues at the site and reporting to the owner and Project Manager.

About You

Apply if you have:
  • A university degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Senior level experience with at least 10 years in the field.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in construction supervision/management, particularly in desalination projects.
  • Experience in construction schedule and costs controlling.
  • Experience in Desalination Plants Commissioning and Maintenance.
  • Preferred: Advanced mastery of MS PowerPoint and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Driving license.
