Global Demand Planner - S&OP Leader

You primarily professionalize this process to an optimal balance of inventory, service and cost through a clear vision, hands on collaboration with colleagues across the business and clever use of data analytics and digital solutions. You coordinate the demand planning process, which results in a global demand plan for finished goods, and you facilitate the different steps in the S&OP process like demand reviews, supply review and consensus review with the executive leadership team.nYou take a data-driven approach and cooperate effectively with various departments at all levels. It doesnu2019t stop with S&OP; you actively drive NPI and ensure critical range reviews and execution closely with your marketing colleagues.nYou are part of the planning team and report directly to the Director Supply Chain Planning & Logistics.u00a0nTasks and responsibilities:u2022tYou own and drive the demand planning process. You provide a statistical baseline forecast to regional demand planners, for them to enrich based on sales insights. You challenge these plans in regional demand review meetings and you consolidate the regional plans into a global unconstrained demand plan;u2022tTogether with Supply Chain Planning, you create and adjust the final constrained demand plan and make sure that it is properly implemented, and all relevant departments are timely and properly informed;u2022tYou facilitate the S&OP meetings and ensure that the S&OP plan is used as business driver. The S&OP plan reflects the status of business strategy plans and as such ensures the right product availability for growth. You ensure acceptance of the plan and gap-closing actions in the S&OP meeting with the Executive Leadership Team;u2022tYou report on S&OP and demand planning KPIu2019s such as forecast accuracy and bias with the aim of continuously improving S&OP results like product availability and inventory;u2022tYou oversee the process to create new SKUu2019s in all relevant systems and processes. In cooperation with Marketing you facilitate a constructive product range review process to identify improvements/rationalization in the product portfolio;u2022tYou oversee that the tactical S&OP and NPD plans are operationalized and lead processes such as phase-out/phase-in or product allocation in case of availability issues;u2022tYou guide the regional demand planners in an informal way, by supporting and coaching them. You stimulate a mindset of continuous improvement, where you challenge the status quo and look to adopt new and improved ways of working.nFunctie-eisenu2022tYou have a Bachelor+ or Masteru2019s degree, in the field of supply chain management, business analytics or data science;u2022tYou have experience in a demand planning role, including use of ERP and Advanced Planning Systems. Ideally you have implemented an APS;u2022tYou have experience in S&OP and facilitation of S&OP meetings across different regions and management levels;u2022tYou are an expert in data analytics, based on tools like Excel and Power BI;u2022tYou are confident in leading projects or playing a proactive role in project teams;u2022tYou speak fluent English.
