At TOTALIS we are a Construction, Fit Out and Facilities Management provider with offices across the UK. We carry out a wide range of projects for a variety of private, public sector and retail clients. Due to exciting growth plans, new client wins and improvements to our internal systems we are looking for a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in our Belfast Office. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. There will be excellent opportunity to progress within this role. They will take responsibility for the provision of surveying duties offering expert advice on all relevant commercial aspects of the projects, specifically around cost management and contractual matters. Main Responsibilities: To ensure the optimum commercial return is achieved for the project Prepare cost/value reconciliation reports Prepare and agree interim valuations to gain the best commercial advantage for the organisation Negotiate and agree n final accounts with subcontractors to maximise project margins Ensure sub-contract orders are prepared in accordance with company procedures Maintain control of accounts Qualifications, skills and experience: Quantity Surveying experience required Experience within the Mechanical Sector working on Maintenance/ MTC contracts Experience working with Mechanical/ PSA schedules Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail, highly numerate with the ability to collate and interpret financial data Proficient in IT, specifically Excel Methodical, conscientious and organised, ensuring the delivery of high standards Competitive salary based on experience Belfast based office Skills: Quantity Surveying Cost Reporting Valuations
