This is a hybrid role where you will spend 60% of the time supporting our Sales team doing functions as a Technical Sales support, mainly preparing the proposals, doing the quotations and preparing the technical documents. Then 40% of the time you will be required to provide an on-site technical service support to our clients.Key aspect of the position
- You will be based in Kuala Lumpur and you will travel time to time depends on the business needs.Main responsibilities
- Prepare the sales quotations (including the calculations) for the customers in coordination with the Account/Sales Manager.
- Join and support the Account Manager or Sales Manager during sales preparation, presentations to customers and/or negotiating processes.
- Check final customer purchase order and sales contract with initial quotation and clarify/solve any discrepancies.
- Check of (commercial and financial) terms and conditions.
- Handle customer requests/questions about signed contracts and check changes against the agreed quotation.
- To visit customer sites as directed to install, maintain, commission and repair power supply and related systems, including battery maintenance and swap-over.
- Testing and replacing defect components in order put the system into operation according to pre-defined standards.
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete documentation relating to the site visits, including field service reports, expenses and overtime sheets.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (graduate) or equivalent level of competence.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience within a relevant industry, preferably completed with commercial experience.
- Experience with power electronic systems and related installation/maintenance/service procedures.
- Willing to work in weekends and night shifts in order to ensure 24/7 hours availability to clients according to planning schedule.
- Competent in English.
