Senior Backend Developer - PHP - REMOTE

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a proficient Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as for the integration of the front-end part. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be working closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.Responsibilities:Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platformsBuild innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) teamEnsure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applicationsLead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch supportConduct analysis of website and application requirementsWrite clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular codesDatabase designing and maintenanceTroubleshoot and debug applicationsPerform UI/backend tests to optimize performanceCollaborate and work with frontend and mobile app developers on the backend needs of projectsAdhere closely to development plans and anticipate changes to specifications or schedule as they become necessary during developmentWork with project managers when gathering requirements, presenting work, etc. and be able to take complex technical terms and break them down into layman's termsHow to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to send a cover letter along with a CV Job SpecificationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent fieldMinimum 5 years' experience as a PHP developer with a strong background in Laravel or similar frameworksSolid knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)Excellent relational database skills with MySQLExperience with database design and administrationUnderstanding of open source projects like Wordpress, etc. is a plusKnowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc.Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc)Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideasProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitJob Rewards and BenefitsHealth Insurance,Incentive Bonus,Leaves
