BusinessDeveloper drives the growth of the business by buildingrelationships with prospects, customers, and business partners,designing strategy and business plan, and contributing to therealization of the strategy together with the different members ofthe team. This is a unique opportunity to workfor a fast-growth and revolutionary industry. A familiarity andgenuine interest in crypto currency and blockchain technology is abig plus.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSearch, identify and track qualified prospectsand business partners to the pipelineDevelopand maintain client relationships Drive theend-to-end sales process Prepare and submitsales contracts Coordinate with various stakeholders to develop and negotiate mutually beneficial proposalsCollaborate with the global sales &trading team on all business development effortsConduct data analysis, market research toprovide relevant information to internal teams and managementWork closely with the Business Strategy teamsand Project Management teams across different bitFlyer entities onvarious product improvement initiatives, and project management.Build relevant business cases for new projectsand initiatives Support the Product / ProjectManagers to define the specification of productsKeep up with market / industry trends torecognize new expansion opportunities and outline growthmethodologies Experience /Knowledge / EducationQuantitative and comfortable using data andfiguresGood knowledge on SQL queriesDeep understanding of the cryptocurrencyindustry, especially for the European marketProven degree in Economics, Finance orBusiness Prior experience / interest /knowledge of cryptocurrencies/blockchain technologyAt least 5-7 years of experience in BusinessDevelopment / Strategy. Proven experience inthe financial sector desirable. Previousexperience in Japanese multinationals will be an advantage.Excellent written and verbal communicationskills Extremely result driven and hardworkingA natural problem solverAdaptable and calm under pressureTeamplayerLanguagesEnglish proficiency is amustJapanese proficiency will be considered asa big advantageOther European language isconsidered as a plus
