Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive cyber security strategies and programs to protect the organization's digital assets and infrastructure.
- Lead a team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance, expertise, and mentorship to ensure the highest level of security standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to cyber security, such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001, among others.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems and networks, and implement remediation measures.
- Stay current on emerging cyber security threats, trends, and technologies, and propose innovative solutions and strategies to enhance our overall security posture.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to cyber security management and implementation.
- Develop and deliver cyber security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on the organization's cyber security posture, incidents, and mitigation efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in cyber security, with a proven track record of implementing and managing security programs in a complex, enterprise environment.
- Proven knowledge of authentication solutions, like Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), OAuth2, SAML, and encryption solutions
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security best practices, methodologies, tools, and technologies. Knowledge of Security Challenges in the Cloud industry would be a great plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of cyber security professionals.
- Experience working in the financial services industry or a similarly regulated environment is a plus.
