Description: Must have computer skills great work ethic and technical/mechanical background preferred. ***Vision Testing must be completed within the first week of the subcontractor s assignment*** Pay rate XX22.00 1st shift All US ISC touch labor roles are eligible Subco Bonus Program to 3k and a change in the payout structure: XX1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance; XX1k at 60 days XX1k at 90 days ** to get 60 and 90 day bonus; worker must have received 14 day bonus. Must have mechanical and technical experience. Also need computer experience and able to work in team environment. This position is located at the Honeywell facility in Rocky Mount North Carolina. This facility manufactures sophisticated electromechanical and electrohydraulic control systems for aircraft and helicopter engines in both commercial and military applications. No relocation benefits are being offered with this position. Therefore only local candidates will be considered. Local is defined as residing within approximately 50 miles of the facility. Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results. Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. Requires an associates degree and 46 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under direct supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor. Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant. Exposure to substantial machine chemical biological or other physical risks are anticipated. Use of precision tools fixtures and measuring equipment to perform assembly inprocess inspections calibration and test of hydromechanical fuel controls in an aerospace production/quality environment. Follows all prescribed Health Safety and Environmental rules and regulations. Performs work through the utilization of electronic work instructions engineering and quality procedures blueprints and other specifications. Reads understands and works to Quality Procedures. Visually inspects parts and product for quality. Detects and reports faulty operation defective tools and materials. Initiates action to prevent/correct product/process nonconformity. Maintain all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains work areas and tools according to Visual Management and 5S Standards. Must be able to work overtime including weekends. Attend and actively participate in daily Tier meetings Participate in continuous improvement and rapid problem solving Perform all other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: US Citizen High School Diploma Able to follow detailed assembly and test instructions consistently and interpret blueprints/drawings. Ability to use precision measuring devices such as micrometers dial indicators dial calipers and depth micrometers. Ability to work with hand tools of different types. Basic computer skills with ability to navigate internet and MS office. Intermediate math skills Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 23 years experience in an assembly and/or test manufacturing environment North Carolina WorkKeys Career Readiness certificate Silver or Gold preferred Six Sigma training or certification Associates degree Able to work and communicate well with others. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced aerospace production environment. Must be able to work in a team environment and solve issues at the lowest level. Knowledge and demonstrated adherence to 5S principles Have led or actively participated in an continuous improvement manufacturing activity Training will be OJT (on the job) during first shift hours. Work Schedule: 2nd shift plus overtime ALL OT MUST BE PREAPPROVED BY HONEYWELL SUPERVISOR BEFORE ANY OT HOURS ARE ACCRUED BY EMPLOYEE. Steel toes are required The minimum level of education required for ISC assignments is High School diploma/GED. Suppliers should obtain a copy of the candidates highest level of education (HSD/GED or degree) to avoid delays in onboarding. Worker will utilize one of the following Timekeeping systems: Worker will utilize eShop for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he/she will not need access to this system. It is imperative that the registration is completed as soon as possible after receipt of registration invitation in order to assign the Fieldglass Worker # to the contingent worker. This Fieldglass Worker # is required to properly setup the worker in eShop for time reporting by HON manager. Your attention to this process will eliminate delays in receipt of worker hours and invoice creation. Honeywell manager is responsible for training worker to utilize eShop system. Additional Details
