The Role / Person Reporting to the Group Manager Community Services, the Recreation Facilities Manager will be responsible for leading and optimising performance across our network of pools and recreational facilities, driving high-quality service delivery, a strong focus on wellbeing, health and safety, customer satisfaction, team engagement and operational efficiency. As part of the role you will have a strong focus on leading a professional team, fostering a spirit of unity and actively engaging with stakeholders, customers and the community. You will need to be an energetic leader with significant leadership experience within the recreation industry, an outstanding communicator and have the natural ability to build rapport quickly to engage with our people at all levels. Experience in the aquatics industry is advantageous. You will also have had success at building a high performing culture. Your ‘can do’ attitude and excellent organisation skills are a must in this dynamic and ever-evolving environment. You will be a strategic thinker, business-minded, highly professional, reliable, and work well under pressure. We are offering a competitive salary and staff benefits to the right applicant! This is a permanent role and offers a minimum 40 hours per week. Rostered shifts and occasional weekend/on call arrangements will apply to this role. The annual salary for this role is $119,928 - $141,092 per annum.
